About This Event
Springtime In New York unites our city's most influential and inspiring individuals with the power of corporations who are passionate about investing in kidney health. This unique cocktail style event has been reimagined for 2019 with an enhanced celebratory experience featuring a musical performance. Three extraordinary members of the local kidney community will be recognized for their work in living donation and public health education:
Chuck Fruit Award of Excellence - Kenneth Zuckerbrot
Kenneth Zuckerbrot, an international tax attorney, chairs the Bankruptcy Tax Group at global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP. In 2017 he received a lifesaving kidney transplant from an altruistic living donor. Since then, Ken has boldly and passionately partnered with NKF to realize our shared vision of increasing awareness and education around kidney transplant.
Trailblazer Award - Natilee Reid & Megan Summer McSween
The mother-daughter duo inspired NKF's new program, Your Kidneys and Youth, after Megan proudly used "her special kidneys" as a platform to bring kidney health education and awareness to her classmates.
